Took delivery of a Blue Pearl with Light Flint interior Marauder a week ago Saturday. Technically, it is my wife's car (replacing a 1997 Mazda Millenia that was more trouble than it was worth). She lets me drive it now and then.

My daily driver is a 1998 Ford Expedition which I have used heavily off-road taking it places even Jeeps fear to tread.

My hobby car is a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible with 390 ci, 4 bbl and three on the tree w/overdrive. You'll find me each weekend wrenching on it or driving to cruise night or car shows. Trying to convince my wife to bring the Marauder to cruise night to show off against the Mustangs and Camaros/Firebirds. She's not buying it yet.

Welcome Blue,

We've got another newbie around here somewhere with a later model Galaxie convertible. Forget his name off-hand...do a search. He even posted some really nice pics.

EDIT: Just looked myself for you...his screename was "Wease". Look up his post for the pics.

bluesky636-how many miles on your Galaxie? Color?
I've got 207,000 miles on my 64 500XL convert, turquoise, black buckets, Cruise-o-matic, 3:50 rear, 352-4v-250hp. About 130,000 on the moter.

I also have a 1958 TBird hardtop, white, black/white interior, second owner, 60,000 original miles, 352-300HP. Original paperworkshowing options, cost, and trade in value for a 1950 Nash ($700).

None are "cherry"; just very nice attention getting drivers.
