Anyone buy this? Sounds hokythis (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercury-Cougar-Marauder-Sable-Voltage-Stabilizer_W0QQitemZ8014989611 QQcategoryZ33577QQrdZ1QQcmdZVi ewItem)
I've heard of our cars having a lot of power consumption. Think it'd be worth it?

It sounds like the equivalant to a stereo capacitor

Your battery does the same thing. Its a waste of money unless you run a huge stereo system. If so, there are other options to consider.

I'm in agreement with Warpath, but with some limitations.

In it's stock form, the altenator will shut off at WOT, and the whole car is running on the battery. If this a weak or tired battery, you run low on power, and the first to be affected by that, will be the subsystem furthest away from the source, the fuel system. There's a computeri in the trunk called a Fuel Pressure Delivery Module that monitors fuel system performance, and if it senses a loss of fuel pressure, it will shut down the car for safety reasons. So, when the pump starts to run slower due to lower voltage, it will shut down. In some cases where the car has been modified with power producing mods, NOS for example, this could result in extensive damage to the engine.

This device, as advertised, doesn't make the correct repair. It supplies a limited shot of power for a limited time, and may not solve the problem at all. The better answer is to get into the EEC and turn the altenator on full time, including under WOT. Also keep an eye on your OEM battery, mine proved to be a year older than the car, and slowly dying. Don't expect miracles from it.

"To Improve Engine Performance. Car's CPU (ECU) is Highly Dependent On All Sensors That Provide Data And Signals to Coordinate Different Parts & Different Places. CPU (ECU) Can Give Best Judgement If And Only If The Signal Is Accurate Which Affected By Electricity Flow in the System. Hence a Stable And Powerful Electrical In Car Will Ensure Best Torque And Response. XCS (Voltage Stabilizer) With Its Circuit And Assure Full Range RPM Torque & Improve Acceleration Both in Track And Street Use. Also Enhance Audio,Lamp And all Other Electrical Equipments To Their Maximum Potential"

Is there a way to confirm this? I'm asking, because with my Alternative Auto chip pulled, my voltmeter never backs off during a full throttle run.
When it's installed, and I nail it, the voltmeter definitely drops several volts.
Believe me, I'm no expert here, but I pull my chip whenever I go in for service (and I think I hold the record for warranty repairs ), and the voltmeter never varies under full throttle until the chip is reinstalled.
Of course, this being MY car, it's probably acting abnormally :D

Waste of money claims are outrageous..
