Was flipping through e-bay and came across this.

Any insight? Description says wheel came from an "03 but measures 19.5" X 9".

I wonder who the high bidder (351...) is? I see that user name on a lot of MM stuff on ebay, including some cars back when I was looking for mine a couple of years ago.

This auction is for a Used 2003 Mercury Marauder Wheel Rim Ford 5 Lug 5 Spoke 18 (INSIDE AND 19-1/2" FROM FLOOR TO TOP THIS INCLUDES THE LIP) X9".This rim has 5 good-looking spokes leading straight into the 5 lugs. Air valve is present, but has no screw-on cap. This great looking rim has a clear coat polished aluminum external surface. This item came off a 2003 Mercury Marauder original wheels that came with the car however you may be able to use this rim on any make/model that uses that same rim size/type check your car or ask your mechanic/dealer to make sure.
He just doesn't know how to word the description.

Clearly, the seller has little knowledge of the product. He provides two pics, one of which appears to be the unpolished flat full size spare that came in the '03 300A. Both appear to be genuine wheels of stock 18X8 size.

I guess that was the whole confusing part. I'm looking at an unpolished spare and then a polished wheel while reading the description and scratching my head goin WTF????

The picture of the wheel only at first glance does appear to be an unpolished spare, but look again it is a polished wheel. That is a very poor worded auction:mad:

Measurements are probably overall diameter and not tire bead diameter and total width and not tire bead width.

In regard to the "Unpolished Spare"
It looks like the factory wheel, not the spare. Look inside the spoke at the lower left, it's reflective and rather polished. Look at the enviroment the picture was taken in, looks wet to the right of the wheel. Perhaps it is kept in that enviroment, judging by the rust-colored center cap opening (or perhaps flower pot reflection?) It looks like a polished wheel, dirty, and condensation may have taken place to promote the unpolished look...
