Anyone get a new shifter handle and re route the O/D off button? I was gonna get a "Non riced out" Shifter handle and use a visible/hidden toggle switch to replace it. I don't fancy the factory big grip shifter handle.

good question,... I'd kinda like a 'suitcase' shifter like I had in my '72 Camaro

I'd prefer something that is pivoted to the side.

How about a pistol grip shifter ala '70's Mopar??

Was gonna do a woodgrain conversion from grand marquis for dash and doors but that still left the shifter bezel Sim CF. I made a shift boot for my 6 atx shifter but don't think it would even flow right on the mm. I always thought of the o/d off light as the racing green light. *goes to corner*

I dunno about that on/off switch thing, I think it's just a signal that goes to the PCM. It feels like a micro switch, like on your mouse.
Hey Carfixer! What's the straight dope on that switch?
