Knocking since Fuel filter change

Dealer changed the fuel filter at the last oil change and since then I've noticed knocking on acceleration and marginally worse mpg. Any ideas could this be related? The weather has not seemed to make any difference. Its cooler now and I still can hear the pinging.

My gueass is crappy winter fuel recipe.

Its probably a coincidence with the filter change.

Take it back to who ever service it and let them check to make sure
the filter wasn't installed BACKWARDS.
The filter is designed for a ONE WAY FLOW.

If you keep driving it the way it is, you running the risk of engine damage.

I had the same experience/symptoms after the same service, 30K. The problem turned out to be they put the wrong air filter in during my visit.
