Here is Marty's car being handled by Jeff during a burnout and racing a Chevy. I hope you all enjoy it.

Wasn't there an Impala at the start of that race?!Yeah, and it looks like it won the 0 - 60 foot race! Embarrasing, huh?

Sorry about your loss there Marty. Even if the guy did have a break down somewhere before the 1320 foot line.
Better luck next time.

Yeah boy! We sure need more bottom end torque.

Maybe a bigger crank pulley so we can rob some more higher rpm torque in order to supply more boost off idle. Then we can make up for the high rpm torque loss by shooting some cutting torch nitrous oxide into the intake at 4000+ rpm. Yeah, that sounds like the right combination of dangerous with better living through chemistry.

Just kidding guy. Congratulations on a fine ET. All sarcasm aside, you've done a great job with what's been most popular on this car, put a blower on it. No lag, feels great, instant gratification.

But I'm gonna put turbos on mine, and my experience at Buick with the Grand National tells me I'm gonna hit those 11s without gear changes, a higher stall convertor or nitrous oxide because the engine never sees less than 4000 rpm after that first 60 feet, and having an extra 40 or 50 ft/lbs of torque over a blower for the remaining 1260 feet is where it's at for me. And if all the things I know about that other fine machine hold true for my Marauder, I'll get better gas mileage and have something a bit more reliable with a more conservative tune and on pump gas at that. With no extra fueling requirement.

Sorry for the spam. :baaa:

Another friend from the site is working on turbo car too. I am watching him (and you) very closely.

I wanted a turbo project but we couldn't design it the way we wanted it, so we went with a turbo kit on one of my Mustangs instead.

It will when it is done. We are looking at 550 - 600 rwhp on pump gas.
