Ever seen the two next to each other. Its amazing how much bigger the 4.6 is compared to the 302.

Yep, that's a "Jane Russell" difference allrighty. Two completely different engine designs too. Hell, the 4.6 DOHC is probably larger than a big block Chevy motor too, but I'm only guessing at that.

Oh, and for y'all who may ask...

How would a SOHC version compare? The heads on those are much smaller due to the 2v design, that's where alot of the "big" comes into play. Makes the 32v engines look awesome!

Everytime someone see's my Marauder's engine they go on and on about how it's "a huge V8!!!" - quite the contrary, at 4.6l it's pretty small for a V8! But so long as they want to compare my 4.6l to a Chevy 572 big block more power to 'em.

I get the same comments on how large the engine is while in the back of my mind I say its only 4.6 L.

Its cool when your valve covers are the size of someone elses oil pan.

Oh, hell, Mac, those kids don't know about Jane, nor they have any idea whatsoever what a "real woman" is. All I see 'em howling about, these days, are them scrawny heiresses, with fake Ta-Ta's. Not one of 'em could pass the rigerous Fairfield Ta-Ta testing tank protocol.

BTW, while Charlie's out of town, I'm gonna need a few volunteers to help out. ;)

Geez, that's a lot of head. Makes me feel guilty, I'm thinking there should be flowers and dinner involved.

I get the same comments at the drag strip....Chevy guys walk by, look under my hood, and go::awe:
"LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT FRICKIN" V8!!!!"
I hate to disappoint them and divulge that it's only 281* cubic inches...

It DOES look kinda like a BIG BAD BOSS 429....heh heh heh

(*now punched out to 305 cid.)
