I think it will sell like HOT CAKES!
Ford comes out with a T-bird that the average joe cannot afford.
GM comes out with the SSR that the average joe cannot afford instead of a modern EL Camino that would be an instant hit.
The result? Ford laying off another 4K workers, GM laying off up to 30K or go bankrupt.
What does their unions say? People will not buy cars in the first place if the reliability sucks and they are not models that people will buy in the first place.

You are absolutely right!! Key word....UNIONS!!!:argue:
They tend to create artificial economies with very high wages that eventually run businesses over seas.....Textiles.....Chemical s....Cars....Electronics....Pl astics....almost everything sooner or later!!:help:
I don't mean to step on toes but the need for organized labor faded years ago....:(

I don't think unions are the problem per se, as I am a member of a large one myself. The problem is benefits and pay vs. workers in other countries. Thank all the politicians and the free trade agreements for that. Why pay expensive benifits and salary when the DVD players and such can be made overseas for peanuts? The future of organized labor/salary/benifits is going to greatly suffer.
If I needed a small truck I would buy this thing.

Nice !! Scrape the barney logo off and maybe I'll take it. It's definitely a woman's truck anyway... cant fit more than a few shopping bags in the back.
