Yeah, the FPV division of Ford has had these cars for awhile. Why they don't sell them over here, I haven't the foggiest. Make no sense to me.

yeah that car has been out for a long long time, hopefully if they bring it over they will leave the name alone instead of stamping a old school name on it *cough* GTO *cough*

Don't quote me, but aren't Aussie vehicles left hand drive? Also, I'm not certain that their cars, as manufactured, would meet US crash or emission standards. Believe it or not, the US has pretty stringent requirements.

Well If Ford wants to bring back the Marauder, I think we found our car!

Ok I won't quote you. Aussie cars are right hand drive(ie sit in pass side) And yes the US does have stringent laws but even GM found a way to get the Monaro((sp?)GTO) to the states so I don't see why Ford couldn't do it. And if they did bring the Falcon over, give it some other name.

Don't quote me, but aren't Aussie vehicles left hand drive? All Aussie domestic vehicles are right hand drive. Any left hand drives imported must be converted to right hand drive.

I looked into the GTO's trunk. The gas tank is behind the back seat. So much for having trunk space.

I looks like a mix between a GTO & a Mustang. I doesn't impress me at all.

As lifted off Wikipedia's site:
2008
Daimler Chrysler and General Motors has caught on to the rush of going back to RWD cars whereas Ford never changed it on the Panthers. Ford is rumored to be considering replacing the Panther platform with a derivative of the Australian Ford Falcon (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?method=4&dsid=2222&dekey=Ford+Falcon&gwp=8&curtab=2222_1) in 2008 (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?method=4&dsid=2222&dekey=2008&gwp=8&curtab=2222_1). This would be the replacement for the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis, while the Town Car will be replaced with an all wheel drive (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?method=4&dsid=2222&dekey=Four+wheel+drive&gwp=8&curtab=2222_1) sedan based on the Ford D3 platform (http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?method=4&dsid=2222&dekey=Ford+D3+platform&gwp=8&curtab=2222_1).
We shall see we shall see....

Are those twin turbs sticking out of the hood? It looks like someone found the answer to Marauder turbo fitment ages ago. :)
