Remember that episode of Overhaulin when they swapped out a Chrysler 300
C's front clip on a Dodge Magnum? (And the owner of the Chrysler -- identified as a "good customer of ours" was 16 years old!!)

I imagine if you live in Europe and happen to see the episode, you'd be a bit confused. The 300C comes in a "touring" model, which is a station wagon. Here are pics from a German company that offers extertior upgrades (grille, spoiler, side panels, puddle lights, etc)

They look like Yokohama AVS-Sports.

I believe the new versions of the Goodyear F1 (GS-D3?) also shares a similar tread pattern, but I think it's got a slight difference right at the very center.

The Yokohamas are okay... not great, just "okay". They seem to wear nicely, and they provide as good grip as my original 1st generation Goodyear F1s that came with the car. They were hyped to me as being as good in the rain as the original F1s on dry pavement, but from what I've seen they are about even (LS1s will do a number on tires if given any chance). I got an awesome deal on them from a guy who won a Yokohama sponsorship for free street tires, but he preferred race compound so I got these tires for cheap and he upgraded.

Next time I'm up for a tire change, I will probably go with the new Goodyears.

If we needed to replace our wagon now I think I'd do the Magnum/300C conversion.

I just can't decide if I'd want an AWD R/T or the mightier SRT-8... burn-outs in the summer and fishtailin' through the winter!

Sadly, nothing at the Ford dealer would be a consideration.

Sharp pics above... I think the 300C plays much better as a wagon... but then agian I feel the same way about our older BMW 5-series.
