Just to get serious for a moment.

Why do they make announcements about such things?

Couldn't they just quietly drop the advertising in those publications, and spend the $ in more "appropriate" magazines, if that's what they want to do?

I mean, why kick up a fuss and give agenda driven factions something to howl about. It seems to me, they managed to anger folks on both sides of the issue, when saying nothing would have allowed the change to go unnoticed.
