Had some scratches on my hood. Not sure if it came from cats when I parked outside at my friends home in Roswell, or if some SOB put a bag of something on the hood and dragged it off. The scratches were deep enough that the white undercoat showed through.
Took car to a Collision and Repair shop I have used before:
All County Collision and Repair in Eustis Florida.
Wow. Not only does the repainted hood look great, the whole car looks great. Although the car was clean when I took it in yesterday, they cleaned it up even more. The whole car shines as if I just waxed it. They also vacumed (sp) out the inside. Did not expect them to go the extra mile like that for me. This is the second time I've used them. (First with one of my 98 Continentals and now with my 03 MM).
Very Pleased.

good to hear. I need to get one myself while I have 2 cars. How much just the hood set you back? Did they do just the hood or hood and fenders?

:coolman: Nice job on getting that hood re-done. I think if I could get my hood and trunk re-done it would make a world of difference in how the car represents!!

Had them fix a small dent in the hood also. They said I had three, but the other two must have been so small that I could never see them, only the one about the size of a nickel.

What really surprised me was how great the car now looks. At first, I thought they polished/waxed it for me. I doubt that they did, but whatever they did when they "cleaned it up" sure made it look great.
Don't know if this is high, low, or what, but I used them before when my wife did a job on the rocker panel on her 98 Continental, and the car was returned flawless, so I used them again this time. :D

My car has had several deep rock dings and chips in the hood (previous owner, I'm not that cruel) that I would love to get rid off. If my deductable was better I would claim it.

I have 3 series of scratches and I figured out what 2 are. 1 is keys in hand when pushing down on hood(fixed under warenty) and the other resembles a right handed shooter entering the vechicle in close quarters. 3rd is on the rear pannel and unexplaned. Whats your location?
