Love em or hate em, Chevy does put out some great commercials. This ad for the new C6 Corvette is outstanding, but it got pulled from rotation due to complaints:

This '05 SSR ad is just way cool:

Not bad at all if I do say so myself.

My only complaint is, they should have made the commercial as long as the song.

The SSR AD? The kid who drops the "S" bomb in front of his mom, then sitting at the table, taking his punishment ......brilliant stuff. :banned:

The Vette one was good. Right on target for what I was thinking when I was 10 or 12 years old:high5:

I really liked the Vette add (which I've never seen before). I see no reason it should have been pulled - Some PC crap, because it's a kid driving, I would assume?

The SSR Commercial lack a little - All the Stills looked a little "unprofessional, to me. Was it really a commercial, or something someone on the web put together?

The SSR Commercial was a collection of clips and stills from various locations, including video shot at the SSR Homecoming, which took place during the Woodward Dream Cruise. My source for the commecials says it's a genuine commercial that was paid to air. The music cues are similar to the original Chevy Truck Transport commercial, but when you compare the two it's easy to tell the same ad agency cut together both commercials.

Here's the Transport original commercial (it's been shown in two other versions):

and one of the shorter versions:

Also, here are two SSR commercials

This is the "soap" commercial shown as a clip in the first SSR Commercial:

And this one "it's for real" never aired:
