Hey Guys,
My dad just bought a black LX Sport and wants it to sound similar to my GT. I know this is no marauder, but whoever sells exhaust stuff (off road H pipes, cat backs) probably sells it for the LX Sport too. I would appreciate any help or links.
:help:
THANKS!

Try Dynomax or Flowmaster. Dynomax comes with a lifetime warranty but, I don't know what kind of warranty you'll get with Flowmaster. If you want something really loud, get Spintech. I don't know what the website is. Ask one of the guys and they might be able to tell you.

Thanks. Does anyone know who (if anyone) makes an aftermarket H pipe with or without catilytic converters?

You should see my dad's '96 Thunderbird. I tell ya, when it goes, it goes!
Even when you're 1/2 way on the gas, the tires break loose! :burnout:
BTW, what was your first post?

Try http://www.mustangexhaust.com
Mustangs have a similar engine. Plus, the links will be most useful to find different manufacturers. They may have exhaust parts specific for CVs.

Do you have a website for Thunderbird exhaust? I need to find one that's really loud!

Long,
Dude, I've got that '93 Cougar and I'm cuttin' the resonator off and bolting up dual glass packs once I get the tranny in. I'll try to send ya a sound clip!

I don't know anything about Tbirds.
But, if you want it loud, go open headers. :) If you want a full exhaust, off road (no catalytic converters) H or X pipes and flow through mufflers such as Borla will be the loudest. I know from experience. With the top down, going under a bridge at part throttle hurts my ears. I have a Dr. Gas X pipe and Borla catback mufflers on my Cobra.

On my uncle's Dakota, when the engine hits 2000 RPM, your ears start to hurt.

Open manifolds on a t-bird/cougar would be bad... O2 sensors are right there at the end of the manifold, and can suck in outside air, cause A/F inbalance.

My Dad wasnts to get a Supercharger too but he doesn't want to modify the hood. Do you guys know of one where you don't have to mess with the hood?
