It only has 8 miles on the clock, supposed to be within 24 of the last build. Candy Red. That's not want I want to share. The owner looks like he keeps it in his living room (check out the throw rugs on the floor) and notice the thick layer of dust on the car. For a comparison, look at the engine bay on the "8" mile '02 and another '02 for sale with 7,000 miles.

BTW, the price asked is way too high http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Prowler-By-Crysler_W0QQitemZ4597286580QQc ategoryZ15284QQssPageNameZWDVW QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Your right, you would think that an eight mile car would look a lot cleaner than this.
Maybe he has it in his house because he can't afford furniture :)

How the hell did he get it in the house?

Maybe it got that dusty when he cut a hole through the garage wall wide enough to drive it through to his living room!

He has coke machines in his living room too. Anyway, Ive always believed those Prowlers will be going up in value in the long run. They were styled like nothing else and even if they only had a v6 they looked great. Regarding this particular one, he's right about the color, it is rare and also note its not a Plymouth, it was made after they folded so its a Chrysler. I think that guy that has the 4 Prowlers in the garage should bid on this one, dusty or not.

As you can see from the below pic with another car in the distance it is some sort of showroom. The car probably had the hood popped for a great many months leading to the dust collecting.

There is an exotic car dealer in the northwest, near Seattle I think that looks kind of like this. Park Place something or other kind of rings in my head...along with all the other ringing.

I still can't understand why this thing hasn't come back into production with the HEMI. Even with the later versions of the V6 it was pretty quick. They had a concept called the Howler with the V8 in it.

I think its purpose was to put some excitement back into the Chrysler name, a reason to bring people back into the their dealerships. Job done.

The original business plan for the Prowler was a five year production. It went six years, and in the final year Chrysler wound up with a larger inventory then they wanted or intended. There was no follow up model on the boards, so it was time for it to go.

BTW, Lingenfelter did at least one V8 conversion for the Prowler.

Yeah, but I don't think this is any kind of automobile sales agency. The floors are wood parquet, and rugs? Looks like somebody who collects cars converted part of an old house for display. The seller isn't a dealership, the other offerings are collectable glasswares. It's just weird.

The other shots show the interior is dusty as well. You would think whoever this person is would at least dust the damn thing, use a good flash or lighting to show off that Candy red paint. I doubt the engine has been turned over for 3 years.
