Messed with a Mazda speed from a 60mph roll. 2nd gear I pulled pretty good but that begining of 3rd he got even with me then the DOHC started to kick in till the Fun limiter. I just barely beat him. Freeway was empty forever so I figured out the speeds in each gear. Almost 90 in 2nd?!

HOLY CRAP you guys wern't joking about 4.10's a must if you wana go fast. I still want to do just 3.73's thou. With the other things it will give me enough punch. This isn't my speed demon car, my mustang is.

I also can't believe the attention this car gets. Its nuts, its more than my stang.

Don't forget the MazdaSpeed is also 4 Valves per cylnder.

Which MazdaSpeed was it ?
I think there are at least 4 vehicles wearing the MazdaSpeed emblems now.

I had a Mustang when I got the MM too. The Mustang now resides near Boston.

It was a little wagon looking thing. It had a LOUD blow-off I know it wasn't stock. hahahaha I am!

Do the 4.10s....atleast search before you make the decision.

I agree. . . 4.10's, and a decent tuner.

Unless, of course, if the Miata had a high performance fart-can exhaust sytem. . . . forget it. You just simply can't compete.

I know I posted in here already.

And I could edit my post.

But....

Do the 4.10s. I'll second my own vote. You'll notice 3.73's as much as you would just removing your rear seat. If gas mileage is of concern, my best range was 320 with 3.55's and 350 with 4.10s. Don't ask how that worked, I don't know. This was both city/highway mixed to a pretty equal amount as I drive to the same places.

After 2 years with 4.10's I wish I had gone 4.30's , but I want mine to be crazy off the line and I dont do that much highway.

speed mx-3? There are more out than you think and speed 3 is in the works. lost track of the speed 8.

My God! That's what the radio looks like when you put one of those new-fangled cassettes in, huh? :D

I couldn't resist - I've never used a cassette in the MM. In fact, I haven't listened to a tape in almost ten years... Summer of 1996, to be exact.
