Has any one felt their windshield wipers pulse every stroke through the brake pedal? I did today, and it is annoying. Never exprienced this in previous vehicles.

Which pedal is the brake? The one on the right makes it go.
Seriously, I have not experienced that.

Sounds like an electrial problem. Do you mean they actually do a complete sweep of the windshield or just a momentary pulse when the wipers are on? If its a momentary pulse the idle could be to slow if you changed to the underdrive pulleys. John

If you mean feeling the wiper motor 'clunk' through the firewall (and through the brake pedal), yes my old Parisienne did this too. Every wipe "chunk chunk" I would feel through the pedal as well.
I *think* my GTA did this as well, however I haven't driven it in the rain since 1995 (I still have the original blades on there). I don't think my WS6 does it, though.
I think it's an american car thing, if you ask me. Probably the transmission of vibration through the thick firewall from the wiper motor. If someone feels it's not normal, I'd be interested in knowing why. I've yet to drive my MM in the rain and cannot comment on whether I also experience this.

I can feel it in my pedal also. My 89 Mustang GT does the same thing. It has to do with the wiper motor being mounted very solid and you just feeling it through the brake pedal, which is mounted pretty solid itself. Seems to be a Ford thing to me. I have felt it in MANY MANY Ford Mustangs I have driven. My 96 Imapala SS didn't do it.

Yes, its like a clunk evrytime wipers pass. Notice while sitting at the light. It even get worse when the wiper speed is increased.
