Freezing here in Batavia (between Buffalo and Rochester, NY), but in a couple of hours we will be stuffing ourselves with three roast porks that I brought on the plane with me from downstate. The plane smelled good!

Chicken breasts with cranberry chutney. Diet Pepsi are in the fridge:D

And we are having a heatwave up here, 37F!

Going over to my brother's house for dinner. The menu is:

1. Deep fried Turkey
2. Oven Roasted Turkey
3. Ham
4. Macaroni and Cheese
5. Sweet Potato Puddin
6. Candied Yams
7. Greens (mustard and turnip) and (collard)
8. Mashed Potatoes
9. Rolls
10. Two different kinds of pie
11. Chocolate cake

And most of all "Family Love".

Bar-B-Q ribs (cooked on the grille, cold outside or not!!), au gratin potatoes, green bean cass., fresh baked bread, deli tray, and assorted snacks.

Sounds like a super bowl party?!?! Of all people, my 72 yr. young mom requested the menu!!!!

We are heading over to my daughter's house for our traditional "Red Stuff" ... its a recipe handed down in the family from my grandmother. :D It's a favorite around here. Weather is wet ... no snow ... just rain.:rolleyes:

Home made mashed potatoes.

Garlic bread.

Obligatory veggies(wife & company - I could care less about them :P).

And .........

The consumption of much intoxicants on my part.

It was the first time I had a fried turkey. It was great. There was also fresh green beans. My brother showed of his newly remodeled home. Everything was great. I got a lot of take-out from him.

Dessert... cheesecake, fresh fruit tart, chocolate caramel pie (OMFG!), cocunt creme covered thingy, Almond cake, italian christmas cookies...

thats about what I can remember..its all so fuzzy..i passed out somewhere between turkey and dessert.... and the next thing I was home and woke up in front of the computer.... I used to have toes...but I can't see them... I think I feel them there....

Priceless look on his face when youngest nephew took a big mouthful of the mashed taters. Turns out he liked 'em once he got past that first shock. :D
