After a year of owning the MM I finally started to tinker with the aesthetics of the car...I first began with the window tint about a month after I bought the car...the finally a year later...I installed the lower grill mod thanks to DEFYANT , I orderd the S55 badge and just had the OEM spoiler installed yesterday! I am curently working on the Nightshades, but in a different way than to have the tail lights painted...I am working with a sign shop to make a template for a vynal version of the Nightshades which are weather with standing and are supposed to last a while. They install like you you put on window tint, which should be a much cheaper alternative to having your tail and reverse lights painted. I am also in the works with them to do a forrest green template for the inserts that are reflective. I will post when the vynals are installed and pics are soon comming of my Silver MM.:coolman:

I am also contimplating the Silver Stars but have not seen what they look like on another vehicle. Their kind of expensive to just try to see what they look like or how they preform...A while back I bought those cool blue and thought those were the worst headlights I ever spent money on....

This is one mod you have to have. It makes a big difference. It is a cleaner shining light without the brownest hue that the OEM lights put out.

What ^^^^he^^^^ said. I have the Silver Stars and is a great mod for ~$40.00 (set). Highly recommend going to your local parts store and picking them up. You will not be disappointed.

I like that mod. Looks really good on the silver birch. Something else to look forward to doing this spring.

And I agree, gotta do the SilverStars in at least the headlights. Much better than the stock setup. I do want to try the Silverstar H1's and see if they make a difference, although I have heard some say that they don't last long. I never had problems with the Silverstars for headlights in my truck for 2+ years, but my Honda Accord silverstar low beams lasted about 6 months. go figure.

There were certain batches of the silverstars that were a 1 month deal. Not shure if all those were purchased and expended yet...

Need to do the lower grille mod since my 6 has a new grille due to the snow and people spining tires. Rock shattered the grille and bounced off the tranny cooler.

As for the lip I need to see BigHouses car in a stationary position(Not flying past me ;) ) before I take that route.

Well I took yall's advise and got the Silver Stars in the head lights, but still looking for them to put in the fog's..I have also put on a vynal version of the Night Shades and they look good..But if there is a different swing to them it is this....If you are of uncertain if they are against the law in your area these disapear when you turn on your lights...what I mean is that the light shines thru the vynals so at night you cant really tell they are there...This can also be considerd a down side, just depends on how you look at it...:coolman: If any one is interested in the vynal version pm me and I will get you the information. It can be a do it you self job, but you need 2 to 3 people total to put them on...once you master it, it will take about 20-30 minutes per light...:coolman:

I installed Charlie's great idea when he first put it up. Total cost about 95 cents and 15 minutes off time in the resting position. Flat on my back is where I do my only work! I really liked the look and it looks great in the SSM 2006 Calendar January Month. thanks VERY much. My point is the only thing remaining untouched on the front of my MM after the carwash explosion is the $.95 cent Defyant Mod. Go figure! 5 grand worth of damage and the 95 cent mod is good as new. They come in a package of 4 so I have 3 backups and don't need one. Jeez. Thanks again Charlie. :bows: You know I have never found a leaf in my lower grill since I put Charlies Gutter Guards to work. I added these to mine a couple of months ago (see pic below). Any thoughts?
