I was all set to bid on a sirius satellite radio with home docking station and boombox, no reserve, starting bid was $0.01....... and just before I clicked on the bid I noticed shipping was >$49< !!!! Sheeyuut, I can see why there's no reserve. It was a store display model, to boot.
Wound up winning a bid for am XM PCR new in the box, more than I wanted to bid, but half what the "buy it now" prices have been running for XM PCR nib. After I won, the seller immediately raised the minimum starting bid on his two other new units, plus changed the shipping fee from a flat $8 to $20.
I'm looking forward to the XM PCR. I already have XM in my SSR and have a MyFi, which records 5 hours of broadcasting (I use this to listen to at work). But the XM PCR along with Time Trax software allows you to rip high quality Mp3's and organize them by artist, album, etc, then you can download them only an MP3 player or rip a CD from there. That's why XM discontinued the product last year, then came out with the MyFi.
Oh, and you Howard fans, Time Trax offers a similar recording capability for Sirius using a Sirius tuner.
