Im a lifelong Dallas fan but I just have to mention Doug Flutie doing a drop kick in likely his last regular season game. First attempt since 1941 and he made it. Fantastic.

You have to credit a man his age, to do what he does. Truly a young man's sport, I have knees to prove it.
Sorry, but... Go Bucs!

When I was a kid, I was one of the few people who could Drop Kick, and have the ball go where it should. Never could figure out why they no longer Drop Kicked the ball, as when Drop Kicked, there is one extra person protecting the kicker.

Love Doug Flutie. I have three boxes of "Flutie Flakes" on display.
Limited Edition.
Second Edition.
Third Edition.
All from his days playing for Buffalo. It seems like everyone in whatever city he ever played love him, even if he is now playing for the other team. They all said that a "short guy" could not play Quarterback. He proved them wrong.

I watched the Boston College "Hail Mary" pass live on TV all those years ago. My mother was watching, too, and went nuts. I didn't think she even knew what was going on...

Sadly, I can't even remember the name of the guy that caught it.

If anyone had Flutie in playing in their Fantasy Football League...they should have gotten 150 points for:
1: Doug Flutie playing
2: Doug Flutie kicking a PAT
3: PAT was a DROP KICK!!!:awe:

Sadly, I can't even remember the name of the guy that caught it.Gerard Phelan!! I remember the game well, being a BC Alumna and an avid sports photographer while at BC. I even got to travel with the football team to cover their away games (pre-Flutie years.)
