Not to get all mushy here.... My mom passed in June, today's her birthday. I'm taking a trip to the cemetery. Advice to those of you whos parents are still around, go see them. Send them a card, let them know how you feel about them. Thankfully I did those things, it makes the sadness a little easier to bear.....

My father passed in '82, and there not a day I don't miss him.
Nice to hear from you again, Joe.

Very nice, Joe. The thought goes through my mind very often.
Edit: Hey! Something very familiar about your front fender! :)
Did it line up nicely or did it require a lot of fudging?

Joe, I still have both of my parents and I never take them forgranted. I love my folks dearly. My Pop has hung with me at numerous car events. The best part of all, all my freinds tell me how cool my folks are.

I agree, spending quality time with your parents helps to ease the pain when you lose them.

I lost my father two years ago to a stroke and it still hurts. We did talk a lot though and we said the things that needed to be said all around. I think about him and miss him every day.

I am right with you Joe. Dad passed June 18, 2004, his 84th birthday would have been last Wednesday. Sorry to say, I did get mushy at his grave that day. But, I still keep him and my mother still close to my heart, even though they are both gone.

Absolutely. I'm fortunate to still have both parents, and I don't get there often enough!
