To sum it up quick, there option packages depending on year of

the Marauder. 300a is often = 2003 Marauders w/ clock in dash

and map pockets in seats. 300b = is often 2004 Marauders w/out these

options. There is more to it but this is a short answer :)

Thank you guys very much. I did a search, but the results didn't seem like what I was wanting. So, thanks for responding w/ more than just "Search".

Hell, I forgot, K?

And I own one of each you ask about too!

Dayum!

Give me a day or two, let them two sit side by side a while?

I know my #3 doesn't have map pockets, but it has a light under the hood.

I know my #3 can tolerate "same size tire on on all four corners" up to 100 MPH without bothering ABS at all. But, my Traction Control system will make itself "Present and on duty, sir!" over 50 MPH. Best to hit the switch on start-up, eh?

I have learned that the "mini-spare" is in fact an 18" wheel, but it won't fitr over any "big brake" upgrade kits. If any of y'all with mini-spares in the trunk bought new front brakes, check your mini-spares for fitment?

More tomorrow, as they sit side-by-side tonight.

So, if the 300A is better, why is there no Traction Control Button?

Well...that's kind of what I was going to be getting to. If it is the "larger" Package, I wonder why this was left out? Seems like a good thing to have to me. Especially here in Ohio.

I vaguely recall hearing that they had to do some rework to get it jive in the MM but they didn't want to hold up production, so they launched it with the 300B modifications to the 300A. That ring a bell with anyone? I assume I heard that from Steve Babcock?

There ain't no difference between a 300A and a 300B. ;) This is all an old wives tale that has been refuted on "Snopes". Both versions came with standard S/C, 4.10 gears, full headers, sway bars and control links. The 27 inch flat screen plasma TV with integrated DVD player was a $50 option. 300Bs get about 45 MPG and the 300A uses absolutely no oil at all of any brand or weight. Very rare 300Bs came in a variety of colors including Passion Purple, DayGlow Green, Puke Yellow, and White.

J/K .... I thought that it was time for a different answer to this periodic question.
