Ordered tires last week from Tirerack, site said fronts were on sale for $124 with low stock availability, then noticed today that they are on sale for $99 with in stock availabilty. Called and they gave me $50 refund right away, no problem. Very nice of them as far as I am concerned.

:banana2: Thanks for the heads-up!!! I have been waiting to order a set until they went on sale. I have not been checking lately so I might have missed the sale. Now if the rears would go on sale I would order those too. Unfortunately I have never seen them on sale.

As I understand it...the front tires are 8" wide and the rears are 8 1/2" wide...Is there any difference in actual circumference...maybe I should say a wider side wall...does that clarify it?
It just looks like the side wall is taller...

I called Tire Rack today to order 1 front tire @ $99. I only need one to replace one I sc***** on a curb. I talked to a sales rep named Henry on ext#351. He refused to sell me the tire @ $99. He said the price he has is $132. I told him the price on the website is $99 but he still wouldn't place the order @ $99. I hung up and called customer servive to try to find out what was going on. They connected me to sales rep Taylor at ext 279. He took my order a $99 and I should receive the tire tomorrow.

Cy hooked it up just a little bit, brought the fronts down to $121, all 4 are on their way!
