Like some other members here I have the ScanGauge hooked up in my car and have had for several months. Two days ago I noticed that the "miles pre gallon" function has gone south. It now registers pretty arbitrarily anywhere from two to nine mpg regardless of gear, speed, acceleration, etc. All of the other functions seem to be OK except maybe the "gallons per hour" function: I can't really tell because I never used it. Just going from my gas gauge I can tell that my milage hasn't been reduced by 75% in the last two days. Anybody else ever have any problems with their ScanGauges before I call the manufacturer? Thanks

It's only been a couple weeks but no problem like that. I do notice however a slight pulsation in the backlighting at night.

Valleyman,
I've had same problem !!!
I did not do fill up right one time.
Two ways to do.

1. Do a fillup first thing in the morning. Press home, more and fillup then done.
Do not put in gallons.
Let car run down to 1/4 tank.
Next fill up do it correct-Press home, more, fillup, gallons and then done.

2. Do a fillup in morning. Press home, more, fillup then done.
Do not put in gallons as the guage knows it.
Now while still sittling in gas station again Press home, more, fillup
put in a % (percent) of Zero-do not do gallons, press done.
All should be well.

If worst comes to worst call Scanguage at 1-888-433-5664, however you
should not have to if you do the above.

Warren -- thanks. I'll give that a try and see if it fixes this quirk. It was only two fillups ago that I even tried any of the "trip" functions so I think (hope) this might be the problem.:bandit:
