RC....covers sold for $46.00. They would give the engine bay a little more class though. Maybe Mac can get us a dyno test with these installed and see if they are worth the price.

Drats! Smilies still don't work on my laptop.....

Am I the only knucklehead who thinks these look cool?

Again, this is the sort of trim that I think should have come with the car in the first place.

I think they look good. They had something similar on the S55 concept Marauder

I think those finned aluminum coil covers look great on the Marauder, now if they only said Marauder on them that would be even more classic.

Thye DO look good, are ya sure they will fit? Had my coil covers off this afternoon, do we share the same fit?

Now even I'm not silly enough to consider this a performance "mod," but now that y'all brought it up, these parts do weigh more than the OEM tin, and ounces add up donchakno...

Hey, think I'll have another 12 ounces right now...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,beer

I am away from the MM now, maybe someone knows: Are the factory covers swapable left to right? So the imprint can be seen, rather than hid by...stuff?

The don't swap from side to side. There's a left and a right.

I've got a set of those covers from KK on my Marauder. Perhaps I'll go take a picture, if anyone cares to see 'em.

Would like to see what they look like with Black Valve Covers. They looked good with Cobra Valve Covers.

Welcome back Jim..."Long time, no see!"

You interested in the upcoming Atlanta Tuning Session with Dennis at Team Ford?

Ask, and ye shall receive. Or something.

Enjoy the worlds dirtiest Marauder engine compartment.

More pictures here. (http://www.pictobot.com/PictoCode/MailLink.asp?Set=669)

TAFfy; Test and tune? To be honest, my Mo has been on the dyno enough times already; any performance to be gained, or is this more of a social event? Frankly, I think until there's a huffer kit available, my hop-up budget is better spent on this stupid kitchen I'm working on!

Details, please?

For what it's worth; if I were to do it over, I think I'd just go with the stock covers, polished.

They're painted aluminum, stock. Strip that off, sand 'em smooth, and polish away.

I've got my old ones mostly done now; when they're completed, I'll post.. A picture.

Well Cruz, it was supposed to be a surprise but I've got cam covers and one coil cover(the right side 'cause you can hardly see the left) at the powder coater now.....was 'posed to be done last week but I called the guy and he sez 'we're doing that color next week'.

Goin' on vacation this week so it'll be nearly 2 weeks for the pics...................:rasta:

Hmm.

Looks like I sent up the wrong pic for this thread earlier.

See my previous post for a pic of the Coil Covers, and a link to a few more.

Enjoy.
