Things to ponder -
1) Premium is back to $2.50 a gallon around these parts.
2) It's cold and snowy for free in the North USA, Canada and higher elevations in North America.
3) This: http://www.skidxb.com/index.htm
Click around this site. Check out "what you get" for your ski pass. It includes a jacket, trousers, and "disposable socks." Makes sense -- doubt many Dubai residents have cold weather gear in their wardrobes.
To figure out the US Dollar amount, divide by 3.67. The exchange rate is fixed at 3.67 DHS to the dollar since 1980.
They kinda cheat on the website. "Snow Fun" shows actual pictures of what look to be Americans (or Canadians) enjoying themselves out doors in snowy country, blue skies, mountains, etc. What you get in Dubai is indoors.
It's kinda like getting an inflatable Pamela Anderson doll, and they show you real photos of Pamela Anderson on the box. That the doll came in.
