If your last site donation was your raffle ticket for the first supercharger raffle in Dec. '04, you were credited a one year subscription to the website at a $100 value. You probably received a renewal notice recently, which was emailed automatically. Please follow the instructions if you wish to make a donation ($25, $50 or $100) to support the website.

As a Contributing Member, you have access to the Members Only forum, 100MB of Gallery space (Registered Members have 50MB of Gallery space), and additional design capabilities in the Classifieds.

Well said Mary. If you love this site, I think a donation to the cause is the next best mod for some of you. You've learned a lot here, without this place I would have only spent about half the money I have on my car..

I got this earlier and copied it to Logan to see what it was about?? No reply so I don't know what it is about except for the fact that I bought a raffle ticket for $100 for a Trilogy SC and maybe that constituted a "Membership"??

I got the email a day or two ago.
I asked Logan about the current raffle and if we were privy to the same benefits as last year.
Logan's answer was...

No, as the site is not benfitting from this SC raffle in any shape or form.

Keep in mind, people aren't obligated to contribute to the site. They do so if they want, but I'll never force it or expect it of anybody.


So I am also short on cash at the moment, but once I have some,
I'd put it towards MM.net before I put it towards a raffle ticket.
You get more for your money here, than you do from a raffle, for sure.

Marauderjack:oExactly right. If you bought a raffle ticket for the first SC raffle in Dec. '04, you also received a one year subscription to MM.Net at the $100 level. Those have all expired now....Jan. 18, hence the renewal notice. Once it expired, you "flags," which denoted a Contributing Member, dropped off.

Also, if you're having PM problems, Contributing Members have space for 2,000 PMs and Registered Members have space for 1,000 PMs. Either delete or download your PMs to make them work again.

Contributing Members are supposed to get only flags but something's broken and you get flags and stars.


If flags mean donations what do stars mean?The number of flags and stars just denote the range of posts you've achieved. Registered Members get stars, Contributing Members get flags (and stars because it's broken.)

I will manually work on a fix until Logan can address it to be automatic.
