Cool Maglev video

Demonstration run videotaped by a participant, gets up to 500 kph (310 mph). I read this same vehicle set top speed record with passengers at 581 kph. I'm impressed with the relative quietness and lack of vibration for that speed.

Yeah, I think somebody had some fun with that one. It works, though, just clicky.

Pretty darn cool. I have been on the Chunnel Train from Brussels to London. I think that topped out at 300k (186mph). It was very smooth and quiet as I recall.

I think 500k the wind noise would be difficult to manage. That thing accellerated very fast also.
