Another old Mustang? Try getting a new one. Thanks to a good friend, my deposit is in place for a new Mustang Shelby GT500. Still, I droool over just about any nice looking Mustang!

Damn....thats funny....I almost laughed at that. FWD is not the best, but that FWD Impala will run circles around your Marauder, so I dont know if I would be poking fun at it. The Chevy guys told me that the reason they put the big 5.3L engine in the Impala SS was so it could be a Marauder Killer, and it would seem that with a 14.3 1/4 mile time, the SS is a Marauder Killer!

That is my friend's car built by the guys who handle my Marauder and who are doing up my Yellow car. Only, as you might expect, my Yellow car will have .......MORE POWER! :D This car only makes 500 rwhp. :P

This looks awesome. Since the debut of the "ricer" body style stang, I have not been able to bring myself to look at the mustang (since 1993 I think).
So now that I am looking again.....'

Well. at least let the SS have a blower on it. Charlie, I am comparing apples to apples, or in this case, bone stock Impala SS and bone stock Marauder. Being 3/4 to 1 second faster in showroom trim says it all. I remember my test drive in the Marauder, but the SS was a little peppier and there wasnt enough torque steer to even mention. I think I have grown tired of the intolerance people exhibit towards things and people that may go against the grain. The Marauder is still my All Time Fave, but its fun having something nice as your crappy weather car.

I fairly good tune on a Marauder will bring it neck and neck with the new SS.
The 5.3 is not all that, because it is Displacement On Demand.
The FWD Body is also lighter than the old SS Body On Frame.

I like 'em too!! The new body style is nicer.
But I'll probably be leasing a Ford 500 awd instead, and keep my MM and add some stuff and go faster and handle better and have more fun and be able to see out the windshield when I burn out and feel just fine and get really bored when I drive the 500 as my daily driver. So there.....:P
