With Carrol Shelby and Edsel Ford on stage, the 07 Shelby just sold for $600,000.

The actual car to be donated by Ford has not been manufatured, but a red prototype was brought before the bidding audience.

Lots of nice cars going by today!

Today the first Ford shelby cobra gt500 available to the public sold for $600,000 dollars:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: The owner gets the sun visors signed by Carrol Shelby and Edsel Ford It comes with a tool box with the VIN and production # on it and. The owner doesn't get the car that was on the stage they get to go and see there car get built to there spec's and all the money went to the Carrol Shelby childrens fund.

Is that $600,000 for the first production 2007 Shelby mustang, or the right to buy the first 2007 Shelby mustang? Meaning you'll still have to shell out another $45,000 for the car.

I don't think that detail matters to a guy who can drop 600 large on a Mustang!
