There seems to be a large cavern located under drivers seat and probably the passenger seat as well. What I find most strange about this is that there is actually a metal "roof" over it which creates a large pocket for things to roll around in.

I discovered this when trying to track down a rattle under the seat that was driving me crazy. With the seat all the forward and up I was able to feel around under the carpet through the hole cut in it for the power seat wiring harness.

Much to my happiness I found my main key ring which had been lost for several weeks now. I knew the last time I saw them was when I tossed them under the seat before going into a restaurant, but several searches under the seat by many people resulted in nothing.

Now for something to eat this set of keys is quite a feat indeed. There are no less than 15 keys on this ring.

I can only imagine how annoying it would be if some change found its way into this place. I plan to tape the entrance shut with some black duct tape to prevent any future infiltration. Anyone have any better ideas?

Check out Page 39, Paragraph 3, of the owners manual...you have found the vents for the system...:D Blocking them off might make for some unique heating and cooling issues!!
