Looking at one for my wife. An thoughts on these vehicles?
It is at a reputable dealer, willing to deal. Our daughter bought her Cobalt there last year.
24k miles, leather interior, all the bells and whistles. Semi-4x4 ( single drive wheels-2 axles)
asking 24,500.00
Thanks.

That's what I thought, too.
I looked around on Autotrader.com and it seems to be about 1500.. above average.
I'm sure that if she decides she wants it, there will be a deal.

Bought the wife a Mercury Mariner Premier last year, she loves it also. After dealing (with a sticker of aprx 27K), we got it below 24K...a new vehicle. It's called AWD; however, it's 2WD til you really need it then it kicks in automatically. With the snow we had out here in Nebraska last year, I never noticed if/when it kicked into AWD. Also it is one of the smoothest shifting trannys I've had, it's very hard to tell when it shifts up. It came with the 6-cd stereo and I hate to say it, but the OEM stereo/speakers in the Mariner is 100 times better than the OEM MM. My two cents.

Both AWD and FWD .... tons of nice features and lots of cargo space. The fold down seating is quick, easy and ingenious !!! Handling is terrific ... and I enjoy driving it ALMOST as much as the Marauder. :D Only have had ours for 3 weeks but so far it's been great !!
