Why do you think that's funny? I take personal pride in being an excellent parker; better than most, regardless of gender.

Didnt you know? Women ALWAYS need their space!
(meant as a joke, not being sexist)

Ofcourse Mark, same here. I just happened to find it someone's signature over at CV.net and I thought it was funny enough to post here. I mean, all gender jokes aside, it is really funny.

Actually, the designation for the space should be gender-neutral. I see just as many parking space challenged males as females. Seems the lines don't mean anything anymore ... same goes for the ones on the highway too. Dotted or solid makes absolutely no difference 'cause there is a certain segment of the population that just can't keep their vehicle aligned between them.
I believe the new medical term is "Linearly Deficient Syndrome". Pharmaceutical companies are working on some kind of miracle drug that will alleviate the symptoms. Unfortunately, these pills will cause diarrhea, projectile vomitting, hair loss, decreased sex drive, and occasional sudden heart stoppage.

I freely admit I suck at parking. I also freely admit that I suck at all aspects of driving. If you see me in your rear view mirror, might be advisable to pull over till I have gone by.

I believe that this spot is reserved for "Pat".

It is a special space for those with PMS. Those in the know will always give them a wide berth

Clem,
Please put a rookie stripe on your rear bumper so that we can all provide you with a comfort zone.

You guys kidding? I'd love to have that spot, help keep door dings down. :) I wouldn't have to park 10 miles away from the store anymore!

Just learn to accept it ;) Went out to dinner with the family this weekend, two cars, theirs up front...and they asked where mine is... "Over there.." as they squinted down the lot to the other side where there is a bright street light and no cars or businesses near... :baaa: I need remote start, it would be warm by the time I walk to it.

Sometimes that doesn't help.
I've parked way out in the outskirts of a parking lot,
only to return and find someone parked right next to me.
You can look all over the lot and see hundreds of empty spaces and say.
"This person had no other place to park than next to me ?"
I used to also park in the outskirts when I had a brand new 1995 Escort Wagon.
I came out to find someone parked next to me, and the person was still in their car.
When I got home, I was missing a wheel cover.
I'm glad the Marauder has alloy wheels.

SOMEBODY was that friggin' lame to steal a wheelcover from your Escort Wagon ? Sometimes, I get so annoyed at the bottom feeding, mouthbreathing, knuckle draggers...Oh, wait...I still have my Tempo on the road...never mind...:help:

The spot is still not big enough for my wife to back her maxima into.

That's just a good start. They also need double or triple wide driving lanes--preferably one-way and in another state.

The picture looks better with landing lights to guide the SUV soccer mom in.
