I decided we needed a new ride for our new family, so with a little help from the in-laws and a little of my own, I pulled off a BIG Birthday surprise for E-Mo

I don't know if this is just a SoCal thing(mostly Hispanics) but I saw these at Target

Mi Familia:

Artsy Tucson sunset shot

another Tucson shot with the Catalina Mountains in the background

and one final one with the Catalinas and an Arizona Christmas tree

I traded in the Subaru and with the generous down I'm saving quite a bit and it's a better family car

averaged 21 mpg on the Tucson trip(with a 75mph speed limit and a new engine)

Thanks Marty,

Yeah it was a complete surprise to her, I worked on the deal for a few weeks between securing the down from the in-laws and finding the right car

Got a new '06 in the color we wanted equipped the way we wanted with no miles on it for the same as buying used '05s with miles in whatever color you can find........it's easy to check dealer inventories online.
Just called my local Dodge Fleet Manager and said I need the " Dealer to Dealer I'm in the buiness below invoice good guy type price" and he quoted me a great price--no haggle--done deal!

Finance guy tried to get me into Teflon coating, window etching, alarm etc but I'm in the biz so he didn't try very hard............

I did buy the Chrysler Super Extendo Warranty bumper to bumper and free oil changes.................

All in all a great car-buying experience
