MKZ, Dumb dumb dumb. All the other "Alfa-Numeric" names are also dumb.

Look at what happened with Acura. They had a great car with a great name in the Acura Legend. Also had the Acura Integra. Everyone knew what they were and they both sold good. So what do they do? They give these great cars "Letters" for names. Who the heck knows what a TL or an RL is? The answer is nobody knows. Acura used to be one of the top sellers in its class. No more, because nobody knows what they are selling.

BTW, Acura also had the Five Cylinder Vigor, but it did not sell because it was a 4 door sedan with no back seat room. (But at least it had a name).

... lets see,

The Lincoln ABC - will be the entry level 4 cylinder model
followed by the Lincoln DEF - which will be a step up offering a V6...
Then Lincoln GHI - will be the older drivers model...

you get the idea...:)

Weren't all the new Lincolns supposed to have names that start with "Z"?

The new Lincoln Zero! Or we can hark back to Ford's horse names and have the Lincoln Zebra.

At least I can remember those names.
