For a car that dates back to the 1955-56 era, I think it was pretty futuristic looking and "It was supposed to be the safest car ever built and included features that are now common, but at the time were unheard of. It had seatbelts, a roll cage, side-impact bars, a collapsible steering column, foam-filled bumpers and a padded instrument panel." :D

I like it alot better than all the Corolla look-alikes on the road today. At least it had some style. One of a kind. Ugly -- maybe. But I would even love to have an Edsel today ... make that 12 Edsels so that I had enough spare parts to keep one running. :rofl:
