As many of you know, we have a 10 character minimum in any new post.

Since I don't always have 10 characters worth of something to say (I'll admit it is rare) I have decided to simply finish the count with numbers.

So, if/when you see me replying with nothing more than a greamlin followed by the rest of the count up to 0 - the tenth digit - that is what I am doing. Please don't be confused.

To me, it makes no sense to force it. If all I have to say is 1-9 characters long that is all I am going to say. That being the case, this is going to be my way of working within the system. (Feel free to adopt this method yourselves if you like.) :)

Rider 90 has a cool solution to this problem as well. One which I like just as much. He uses a graphic that matches the gray background of the site to get around the 10 character minimum.

Anyway, now we have two different methods of handling this problem. Good for us.

There is no disrespect in our actions. No one has complained about the 10 character minimum. What we are doing is having fun with something. I have a hard time believing that anyone would have an issue with what we are doing. Especially someone with the sense of humor of Logan. :up:

You had me there for a minute. I had to look at the code to get it.

I guess we have found another little trick. Put spaces after your "sub 10" comment to make up the 10. I'm not sure if a period is required to make it work but I'll try.

BTW- Troll, you used 3 spaces too many. :)

OK, that test did it. You CAN use spaces but must end them with a period or you will get the drop down warning.

I'm glad that I have time for this. :)
