Is it just me or are pages suddenly loading a lot faster.

I suppose my work connection could have gotten better but other sites don't seem to be quicker...

I believe the servers were changed a few days ago. That's my guess.

It's a lot faster to me on dial-up, 'cause Logan gently reminded us of the resources that are burned up by extensive sigs and pics.

But, I told him "Hell naw...No way dude. I ain't changing my sig for no one" and he backed off. That's what I said, 'cause no one messes with my sig.

Glad I was not the only one who noticed something. Maybe the improvement depends on which browser is used. I am using IE.

Me either .... 'cept for small signature pics. :rolleyes: Could be that I have cable access and it is just not that noticeable in load times.

The sig pics were wreaking havoc on the page load times because of the size of the pics.... Server itself should be roughly the same speed. Old box was a Dual 1.4ghz Xeon box with 2gb ram, the new box is a single AMD 3000+ Opteron 64 bit proc w/ 64 bit linux with 2gb ram...

Its easy enough if you speak Greek...The 2.x2lb canafram is just an upgraded sinakyte by 7.109 is not much different than the old setup.just less tidlewatts..:D
