My wife coaches basketball with Nebraska Special Olympics. She hasn't seen this segment yet but she will. The sportsmanship with this team is quite impressive!

Great post!
NCAA Basketball Coach Jim Valvano said in his last public speech before his passing -
"Laugh every day. Cry everyday. Say 'I love you' to someone close every day."
That definately invoked one of those emotions for me.

Thanks,

J

It just makes you feel good to watch, if there were more stories like this.....I would watch television.

What a heartwarming story. Having a niece that's a Special Olympian and having volunteered at SO Games, I've gained a personal appreciation for the special gifts God did give them. Their limitations are based on restrictions others impose upon them. Kudos to the coach, the team and the school for embracing his abilities. Thanks Jay!
