I just returned from the dealer where they replaced my fuel pump under warranty . It one year almost to the day ,that they replaced it for the first time.
The service advisor says that there is now a TSB on this and that the pump they put in has a new part number .
Has anybody else had any experience with this ?

By any chance, do you happen to know the TSB Bulletin #? Also, what were the symptoms?

Are you saying that this is your second fuel pump replaced ?
Since there is a TSB on the fuel pump, does that mean we can have ours replaced under warranty regardless if good or bad ?
What were the "symptoms" ? Thanks:cool:

The symptoms were the same both times . The car would pull hard until it hit 4,500-5,000 rpm and then it felt like it was struggling to maintain rpm's .The first time it was really severe , the second episode was still very noticeable , but not as pronounced . Both times when the tech checked the fuel pressure it was around 10 psi. As we all know these cars need a minimum of 30 psi and probably closer to 45 psi under WOT.
I changed my fuel filter at the first occurence and the service advisor told me that it was getting close to being almost completely clogged again . I paid for the first filter , but the dealer is going to claim warranty on the second , so it didn't cost me a dime .
The mileage on the first pump was approx . 22,000 miles and approx. 34,000 miles on the second .
I'll try and get the TSB #

If this becomes widespread it could get ugly. It's bad enough on a N/A car....a S/C car going down the track, it could be disastrous.

I had my fuel pump crap out on me in my garage last August. Since the Ole Girl is haveing her 3rd anniversary next week I guess I should get it looked at.
