Now they need to figure out how to get the back seat room back.

It has the Ford GT drivetrain stuffed into the backseat.

How about teaching these guys in college to make something actually able to be sold to the public.

I do not mean to offend anyone who like this car but it is a joke. They could have at least made the rear doors non-functional. It looks so stupid when the rear doors are open and you see an engine (as beautiful as it may be) instead of seats. I know that if the Japs did this to their slow (but still faster than the 500) four doors they would be laughed at like no tomorrow. Now, had they produced a Mustang GT-R and canceled the rear seats it would look much better.

Hey I personally make those rear doors every day at work. They are a pain in the ass :argue: to get purfect for the assembly plant. I say show them puppies off.

The rear doors are like two hoods. Whats wrong with that? wouldnt wanna be hangin over the front seat workin on it. Think the blower may drown out the radio though.

It looks d@nm stupid, that's what is wrong with it. If you are already going through the troubles of such a project go all the way. Leaving those doors as is ruins the whole look. The title on the news article from which this was found states "Need a 550 hp family sedan?..." well true only if you have a family that totals two (2). Again, I my main point was that this was a stupid project that sounds (550 hp "family sedan" that seats 2) and looks awful. I know that if you saw a Civic sedan with such a setup that you would claim to have been blinded, :puke: , or what not. If this project was done on a Mustang it would sound (550 hp GT Powered Muscle Car) and look better since it will be a two door that seats 2 (not a four door that seats two).

Nothing personal about those who "make the doors". :D

Just my two cents.

ok, well explain how to work on the motor if the rear doors didnt open. maybe its intended for a two person family with only a cat or a puppy? anyway I give them credit finishing the thing even if its ugly I bet it would be fun to drive.

If the motor's in the back seat what's under the hood??

It looks like it has the "Down Force" vents like the GT....Maybe;)

I wonder why the Ford engineers don't put something together that will sell to the average guy.....I think the "Hybrid Mentallity" will sink FOMOCO permanently!!:argue: Maybe Kermit will become CEO??

I just hope they have parts for my car for at least 10 years......Just in case something breaks.:help:

Well ain't that novel.....Let's hear it for the Ford "Engineering Nerds"!!!

I hope I don't have to go back to Chrysler when the Marauder dies....If it does!!??;) Nothing Ford sells right now is exciting....except the Mustang and it's too damn small???:argue:

We just traded our 98 CV on a 2006 Chrysler 300 and it is really, really a nice car....just UGLY...but she likes it!!
