here in iowa (close to central) weve had some rain lately and the streets are getting the sand washed off and the street sweepers have been out.:)
if we get a 50+ sunny day there are nice cars poping out of the woodwork, just wondering what conditions are like right now for your Mercury Marauder?
AND
anyone done any unsantioned racing yet?
ive got a dozen or so under my belt this year (only 1 lose and 1 tie):burnout:

Keep it like that, I'll be down to North Myrtle Beach 4th week of June, can't wait :D
I'm very tempted to tell y'all how nasty the weather is here on the West Coast of the Sunshine State right now. However, I'm afraid I might iritate a moderator and some members from the GWN. So we'll just leave it alone . . .

I think this picture sums it up.
We got 8" of snow Sunday/Monday. The roads were warm so they had snow on top of hard packed slush/ice:(

We are getting a cold front moving in and it may drop to the high 50's tonite so I am headed to the track!

Weather is excellent, but the oak trees are dropping tons of crud on the car. It will probably get run through the bath today on my lunch hour.

It just sucks here, but improving. 2 clouds and 80 yesterday, no clouds and 80 today. I abandonded my snowman on 12/26/04 and haven't looked back except once thru Jeremy's streaky windshield. Dennis- ask me about the weather again starting in June.:hide: Dennis

Bah! Blast you guys and your warm weather.:D It was -22ºC when I woke up this morning. I won't be able to put on the MMs summer shoes probably until mid April at the rate this is going...

-4 F this morning and it will take about 2 more weeks before spring will start to show around here and remove the 3' of snow and take the 36" of frost out of the ground. Kelly

3.5 stall garage (one door accesses a spot 2 cars deep and 1.5 wide).
And they're reserved for the cars that have not given me nothing but headaches.
(Marauder #1, the 'groundhog' you see poking out of its snowbank, used to alternate a spot with my WS6, but now...let me put it this way: do you send your star pupil to the state spelling championships to represent the school, or do you send the truant gang member with tourrette's syndrome?)

I'll take the truant gang member with tourette's syndrome. He/she will make it interesting to say the least.

Yea, I'm witrh Sully.
-18C this morning, light snow. It's been a really 'wild' winter. No snow from October - March, then nearly 1/2 metre (2 feet) since the beginning of the month.
I actually took the Marauder out for a spin in January, on the stock tires! It was +12C !!!

Not as good as you might think. While we don't have to deal with snow, we DO get to deal with rain. Lots of it. LOTS AND LOTS of it. It's been raining straight through for the last week. The north shore of Oahu is sliding off into the Pacific, and the island of Kauai just went under for the third time.
I saw an old guy with a long white beard dragging a stick of gopherwood behind him last night...he was muttering something about gathering the animals...I'm going to accessorize the Black Hulk with outrigger pontoons and twin OceanRunner outboards. The front wheels will make great rudders.

The weather weenies in Detroit are talking about a possible 6 inches of snow by Friday morning. If I see a 15 day forecast without snow I'm getting the big car out of the bubble.
