In my quest for used Marauder wheels and after getting "stung" by the Parts Train......I am still looking for a reasonable deal on good used or new wheels!!??
I think someone here said that SVT or Ford Racing has our wheels at a fair price but I cannot find them anywhere!!:argue:
My dealer says he can sell them to me for $440.00 each with list price around $600.00!!!!!!:flamer:
Help!!:help:
PM me if you don't wish to post here.
Thanks,
Marauderjack:pimp:

I have a set of four in Atlanta in very good shape.
Shipping is a pain for me because I am in NY. Nonetheless, let me know if you want to try to work something out.

How do you mean "stung" by parts train. I was looking at a replacement wheel for mine and they have it for 200.00 plus shipping of 20.00???:bs:

The parts train wheels are "remanufactured" or "reconditioned".
In most cases the "bright silver" is simply bright silver paint. They are not polished and clear coated!
So, beware.
I saw one on ebay last night and you can tell in the pic it's not polished but painted...see it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04-Marauder-18-Alum-Wheel-Rim-Replacement-VERY-NICE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategor yZ43958QQitemZ8045593419QQrdZ1 QQsspagenameZWDVW
Ford Racing sells them for $399 in brand new condition. http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField= 7612

Aren't the full size spares painted and non-polished? I wouldn't know, I have a donut spare, thought I saw one once and it wasn't polished...
That doesn't excuse the Part's Train mishap though. And that Ebay add you can tell it's also not polished.

I had a couple estimates of $688.75 to replace mine. (By the way, I won my small claims court case and was awarded $1375) I can get one from a friend at a dealer for $380, new in box. Ford Motorsport is selling the same thing.... cheaper ????
Great. ANy links?

I don't think it's cheaper than $380...that's a good price. The site says $399 from Ford Motorsports...

I just called and the website was wrong. $399 is the right price. I wanted to order 40 of them, but couldn't even get one.....
$275 sounded too good to be true....

Wow when I first checked htat link it was $399...sometime since then it was changed to $275...
When I mad my post it was $399. Now it's not. Maybe they're planning a price drop in the near future and jumped the gun. :)
