As I was walking out to my car just before noon today, a herd of deer appeared from out of a small draw between my building and the parking lot. It was about 7-8 of them and they were hauling some serious a$$. Have no idea what spooked them. They passed about 15-20 feet in front of me and I really didn't hear them coming until they were passing by me. They crossed a small 2-lane road between a Jeep Wrangler and another car, jumped a guardrail and then skirted between my MM and another building. Dayum, that was close. ;)

At the rate that they were moving, some of those deer may have been S/C'd. Had I been a couple of feet further past the building, I might have been caught in the middle of the stampede. It was close enough as it was. :eek:
