:bigcry: :bigcry:

I suppose that this is one of the big downfalls with working in a Ford dealer. My treasured 03 Marauder that I've talked about and have had the pleasure of driving since November 05, has been sold by one of my coworkers. I was driving her as my demo, with the intent of buying it outright after the two-year in-house was up. However, one of the stipulations of our demo program is that the staff vehicles have to be available for sale, unless we want to pony up the cash to buy it out (not an option financially for me right now, so it was a roll of the dice).

Anyway, the new owner picks it up on Friday. He has visited this site, so knows alot about the car already (he currently has a police interceptor CV), so I hope that you will help him out when he joins (I don't know what handle he will use).

So my dilema now is what to get as a new demo. We may have too many Mustangs assigned, and there are no Marauders in site, so I've basically resigned myself that it will be a new Fusion, which itself is not a bad car, especially with 221hp, 17"wheels on the SEL trim. I'll hope one day to make it back here (I was two days away from getting Magnaflows on it too!), but will check in now and again just to see what's up.

Take care everyone.:burnout:

Am sorry to hear that man. I just about had to let my go. So i can know you feel. But at least you'll be driving a new car!

Just because your car had to go doesn't mean that you do!

I'll still be checking into the site every now and again, just to keep up to date with stuff. But speaking of the GT, the dealer owner took out our GT for a drive tonight. Now that it'll have a couple miles on it, maybe I'll get a chance to go around the block with it (ya, right!haha). I'm actually trying to convince him to let me bring it to Mosport in June for an open track event and sell tickets for laps in support of Charity. At least he's keeping the idea open and hasn't flat out said no. The Charity idea is something he's keen on, so I'll keep you posted.

Regarding Mosport, if anyone is in the Toronto area on Wednesday June 28, and is interested in an open lapping day, contact me for the details. Cost is $195CDN (that's what, about $2US haha:rolleyes: ), and you'll get 4-5 sessions about 20-minutes apiece. Open to all Ford brand and Ford-engined vehicles. Our SVT Chapter has been sponsoring it for the last 4-years and it's a blast. Sean Hyland Motorsport brought out a Marauder last year and it ran some pretty good laps, so don't worry about your car's handling. Plus, the Andretti straight is almost 1-mile long all uphill, so you can get some pretty serious speed going (I hit almost 250kph in an 03 Cobra-about 150mph).
