Do Our Calling Cards Work?

For almost 3 years I've been carding Marauders and Marauder owners but I don't think any of the contacts I've had have ever showed up here.

Any members here because of one of those little cards tucked under the window seal of your drivers door?
Or under the windshield wiper?

Any body got one that has cyclone03 chicken scratch on it?

Just wondering....

I am sure that some do reply to those cards and browse the site .they just don't come forward..thats cool as long as they can come here and learn something about the car.:up:

Not long after you carded him, SHE showed up at a CAM meet. :rolleyes: However, her last visit was back on 20 February.

[Start Thread Derail] I was carded back in January for buying a root beer and a Bic lighter at a 7-11 store outside Manassas. When the clerk asked me for ID, I gave him a puzzled look. :confused: He then pointed to a sign that said "Must be 18 to buy tobacco products". Since I can claim 18 three-times over, I told him that a lighter was not a tobacco product. He said it meant tobacco-related products. I said that it was "fire related" not tobacco related. Reluctantly, I showed my ID to prove that I had indeed seen 18 a long time ago.

Apparently, this clerk's boss had posted the sign and told him to card EVERYBODY. He was just doing his job, I guess. Maybe he thought that I was from the ATF. :rofl:

I've often wondered the same. I think I've "carded" three cars. As far as I know none ever showed up here.

One belonged(s)? to a raper, parked in a lot on a run down street.

The other had a scuba sticker and was likely a daily driver, parked in front of a relatively expensive restaurant.

The 3rd was an imaculate 04 parked on a business street.

All black.

Mine has not been carded.

I've seen only two since buying mine in July 2004. That doesn't count the used one for sale at the local FLM dealer.
