Well, after 6 months of having a whole lot of power to the back wheels and some new Baer brakes all around, I decided it was time to do a burnout. After a call to my friend in Florida to literally ask him how to do a burnout, I tried one in the industrial park I work in. Got on it for about 10 seconds just to try it. Next burnout... 20 minutes later right in front of my driveway with my boys watching and laughing their a$$es off with a very strong thumbs up. The neighbors were freaking out. I think I counted 6 or 7 adults running out to see whether or not a jet was crashing into their houses. I let off the brake and very calmly put her in the driveway. As the smoke cloud was working its way down the street, all I could see was the smile on my boys faces and the rest of the folks shaking their heads.:D Later Friday night, we had to drop a car off at the dealer to get some work done. I had my oldest son with me in the MM to meet up with my wife. There is a fairly lengthly service road to get to the shop and my son said he wanted me to light them up again. So this time I stayed on if for about 35 seconds. The cloud surrounded the dealership and I had sales guys running out because they thought the shop was on fire. Man that cloud was huge. It was especially cool because those mercury vapor lights they use in the lots refracted off the smoke and created quite a scene. We were both laughing our a$$es off after this one! Man, I am such a child; so easily pleased. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Ahh, the simple pleasures of life!:burn:
Remember to use your power for good. I think my status of "cool Dad in the neighborhood" went way up when I lit them up for the neighbor kids:bows:.
Enjoy!!!

Making a note to buy BFG AND Nitto stock next payday....
Yeah, I thought my dad was cool when he did that in the GTX for us when I was a kid.
He drives a Dodge minivan now. I keep asking him if he wants to take the Marauder for a little "test drive", but he is afraid he'll want one.

When I was 12 Dad was a service manager for a Ford store. His company car at the time was a Mustang 2+2. What a machine! I still vividly remember his toasting of a Camaro on Liehigh Station Rd with me riding shotgun :D and Dad wasn't the racer of my two parents. Mom had a LTD fast back with the same motor, talk about a sleeper!

Pretty diverse group - - some guys worried about fuel mileage and others burning up $$$$$$ worth of rubber.
