A local stop&rob chain switched to Valero gas. Never heard of it. Any comments?

They are everywhere here in CT. They are comparable to Sunoco, Citgo etc. I haven't had any problems when using their gas.

Never heard of any of them .... so I guess Virginia isn't on the list of 42 US states in their network.

There was one by me. Went belly-up. It's a Mobil now.

Thanks folks. I'll give it a few more weeks for the lousy Exxon gas to be completely out of their tanks. I now have a choice of Mobil, Valero or Sunoco (which has priced themselves out of the competition on 93).

They are scattered throughout Southern California. Generally their price runs
anywhere from 4 to 10 cents a gallon cheaper. Arco used to be the cheapest
out here but no more.

There was a Valero in CT that had bad gas and blew a motor in a car in CT, they are still doing tests I think to figure out if contaminents got in the tanks.

Is Sunoco the only U.S. owned out of all of them?

There are numerous Valero stations on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. In Virginia Beach, Va. there's a Kangaroo gas station.
