As has been mentioned in another thread, the SSR went out of production on March 17, 2006. There was a 2007 model year planned before GM pulled the plug, and '07 was to be a year the truck got "freshened" and some additional options added.

Onstar and XM radio was to become standard equipment (they had worked on an antennae that was compatible with the retracting roof), and the floor pan was changed to have the seats sit lower in the cabin.

Recently, these shots from ASC were provided to the SSR Forum to show the exterior changes as well as new wheels. The front fascia would be changed, new body side molding added, a spoiler, and a new rear fascia with four tips instead of two:

This first shot shows an '06 and what new parts for the '07 would be available for sale for previous MY owners:

Here's '05 SSR from the rear to compare to the photo above:

Hey Donny,
I guess it hasn't gotten by you that this is now two vehicles that promptly went out of production when you bought one. That's weird:rolleyes: .... Sweet looking truck!

Guess I'm a jinx also.

I bought two Motor Trend Car of the Year winners, and they both went out of production.

2003 TBird and 2004 Lincoln LS.

Anybody need any stock tips?
